Coconut in the beer?
I have 1.5lbs of shredded coconut and I’m thinking to make a beer with it. When should I add it for maximum effect? I’m thinking about a basic ale using 2 row, carafoam, and wheat flakes. I’d like to add coconut and lime to it for flavor. Thoughts and suggestions are we lcome!

I toasted coconut and put it in a milk stout I have a the brewpub.
I put it in a muslin bag and then put it in a treatment keg and let it sit for a week then put it on tap.
For the 15.5 gallon keg I toasted up 2lbs and it’s a nice subtle flavor to it
