Black Rye IPA
We did a batch of this Black Rye IPA a few months back and it turned out pretty good! It’s definitely not perfect, but we enjoyed it quite a bit. Any recommendations to improve it are welcome!
Grain:
10 lbs Pale 2-Row
2 lbs Rye Malt
1 lbs Caramel 60
0.75 lbs Belgian Cara 8 Pils
0.2 lbs Black Roasted Barley (for flavor)
0.16 lbs Viking Chocolate Dark Malt
0.5 lbs Briess Special Roast Malt
0.5 lbs Briess Black Malt (for color)
0.1 lb Rice Hulls
Hops:
1 oz Warrior Hops (60 min)
0.5 oz Warrior Hops (45 min)
1 oz Cascade Hops (10 min)
1 oz Citra Hops (5 min)
2 oz HBC472 Hops (dry hop in 2 weeks)
Yeast:
