I cursh my grain using a barley crusher mill. Here is a picture of the milled grain from my brew day yesterday. My system is the igloo coolers and I have a braided hose in the bottom of the mash ton. I vorlauf with a small pitcher. I have brewed a lot of beers on this system and didnt have this problem before.

This weekend I had the brew day from hell and had lots of problems. One problem I had was a stuck sparge. How do you avoid this? I had to stir everything and then vorlouf again and I think it really messed up my wort. How do you avoid a stuck sparge?
yeah I one day would like a mash tun that lets me mash in the grains without a bag but I like the brew in a bag for its simplicity.

How big should the holes in a false bottom be.? I plan on making one but not sure what size to drill them if I can get away with bigger holes and less of them then I’d be more inclined to go that way.
100% it will be craft lagers. Great lagers are difficult to master, and impossible to hide flaws in. I think it’ll be the next obvious challenge for a lot of smaller micro breweries to produce these consistently.
Hello everyone, I am wondering if you can change the posts (where the connectors on the lines) attach to a pin lock keg to make it a ball lock keg. Or do I have to buy a whole new keg?
