I made a beer for my in-laws that they like but I’m not a fan. Would a beer be fine if i pulled the keg off and stored it in a cool spot for a few months until the in-laws return to continue drinking on it? Or should i just bottle it up to store?

It’ll definitely be ok! A keg is basically just a really big can or bottle – as long as it’s sealed with no oxygen getting in it will last a long time. I left a keg of an Irish Red in my warm garage all summer and just threw it in a keezer last week. Tastes fine!

Yep. I pulled a pale ale off my kegerator for holiday beers, it’ll go back on as soon as I kick these.

Keg will be fine, just store under pressure, 10 psi or so. I did this for my barley wine for months.
